International Patients

  1. To begin your process, you can contact Dr. Picard-Ami directly via email at lpicardami@gmail.com or the administrative team at panamaplasticsurgery@gmail.com You can also write to our WhatsApp at +1-507-6673-0437.
  2. In order to provide a quote, Dr. Picard-Ami must first review your photos and then schedule a video consultation via Zoom.
  3. Before you plan your trip, we will coordinate everything with you: length of stay in Panama, where you can stay, all necessary post-operative care, recovery time, and of course, all costs in writing.
  4. Depending on where you are traveling from and the flight time, it is recommended that you arrive 2-5 days before your procedure to meet in person with the doctor, nurse, and the entire team that will be taking care of you.
  5. It is suggested that you come accompanied, but if this is not possible, our nurses are fully trained and available to be with you during your recovery.
  6. We offer a Premium Concierge service. A bilingual escort will meet you at the airport gate. We'll provide you with VIP and expedited access through immigration and customs, and then take you directly to your hotel and Dr. Picard-Ami's office.
  7. We have the Marriott Residence Inn hotel right next to the hospital and our office, so you'll only have to walk a few steps and change elevators to get to all your pre- and post-surgery appointments.

I currently serve as the Director of Education for our Panamanian Association of Plastic Surgeons and am the president of the Ibero-Latin American Federation (FILACP) Congress of Plastic Surgery, to be held in Panama in April 2026. I have 32 years of experience in plastic surgery.
