Inmediate one stage reconstruction. She had a breat augmentation several years prior. After a left mastectomy she underwent inmediate reconstruction of the breast and the nipple areolar (sharing from the right) and change to new implants of different sizes. Photos are before and 6 months after.
Delayed one stage reconstruction. After a prior right lumpectomy without initial reconstruction she underwent a delayed bilateral augmentation with different size silicone gel implants. Photos are before and 4 months after.
Delayed two stage implant Reconstruction. She had previously undergone a left mastectomy without initial reconstruction.n the first stage a tissue expander was inserted to stretch the skin and muscle. Later at a second stage the expander was removed and permanent silicone gel prosthesis was inserted. She also underwent a contralateral right breast reduction.
Delayedtwo stage implant Reconstruction. She has previously undergone a right mastectomy without initial reconstruction. The first stage consisted of inserting an expander to stretch the skin and muscle and later in a second stage the expander was removed and exchanged for a permanent saline prosthesis. Contralateral left breast reduction and lift for symmetry.
Delayed two stage implant Reconstruction. 47 year old who had previously undergone a right mastectomy without initial reconstruction. On the first stage an expander was inserted and later exchanged for a saline filled permanent prosthesis. She did not want nipple or areola reconstruction. Nothing was done to the contralateral normal left breast. Before and 4 months after.
Delayed two stage implant Reconstruction. 67 year who underwent a left mastectomy without initial reconstruction. A two stage reconstructionwas performed with initial insertion of tissue expander and later exchange for permanent prosthesis. The nipple reconsctruction was performed using a local flap. She did not want areola reconstruction. Nothing was done to the right.
